ABOUT NANO BEY
NANO BEY is a professional singer, rapper, live performer and songwriter from the arctic of Norway.
Growing up, NANO BEY had a traditional arctic upbringing aware of her roots as a Sami and Kven person mixed with a creative and urban lifestyle.
Her mother was the owner of the widely famous art-club ZooLounge based in the city centre of Oslo during the 1990s. The exhibitions featured - often headlined national newspapers such as Aftenposten.
NANO BEY's sister became historical as the first female sami to recieve two degrees in duodji handcraft.
Influenced by her family and their support to create music, NANO BEY started her own journey as a musician and stage performer.
NANO BEY has been the opening act of the arctic WinterGardenPartyAlta
for 5 years doing various art -stage performances.
NANO BEY performed as a drummer in the alternative rock band VERINENTOTUS (Kven language for - bloody serious)
NANO BEY worked as a vocalist in the choir Alta TenSing for 6 years.
NANO BEY moved to Tokyo as an exchange student to learn the japanese language, culture and the martial art Kendo in 2014.
NANO BEY moved to London and Berlin to attend the prestigious music university college BIMM London and BIMM Berlin where she gained a Bachelor with Honours degree in Professional Musicianship Vocals 2016-2022.
